Serena Williams, an American professional tennis player said she had made too many mistakes to be a professional athlete as she was knocked out in the third round of the Australian Open.

The 38-year-old Serena lost the match to China’s 27th seed Wang Qiang. The defeat meant that Serena Williams’ pursuit for a 24th Grand Slam singles title goes on. Serena said that she could not play like that and she definitely cannot do that again as “It was unprofessional.”

The seven-time champion Serena defeated a 28-year-old Wang in just 44 minutes at the US Open tournament in September whereas the Chinese player Wang Qiang won only one game and 15 points in total. It does not reflect the ability of a player who has been a regular fit in the world’s top 30 players in the world for over 18 months and has reached a career-high of 12 after her run in New York.

During this time after initially starting the game, while serving for the match at 5-4 in the second set of the match, she compensated in a remarkable style. Wang already had the tools to hurt her and continued to perform them in the third set in which most spectators had supported her memorable rival to go on and win.
