Panasonic pulls out of Australian television market

Panasonic has announced an exit from the Australian market and intends to focus on the emerging and leading areas. The company’s current market will still sell the product until the stock lasts in the market and will continue to give the customer support to the existing customer but no new models will be launched in the market from 2020.

The decision hereby will not affect any other categories such as home and AV range which will still be available in Australia in 2020 and after. Panasonic has one of the best televisions but according to the exit statement shows the evidence of the company reigning back its TV business.

The same is after four years of its withdrawal from the North American market in 2016.  Panasonic is excited to offer what’s in store this year across the broad portfolio of electronics and appliance categories. Panasonic has been an industry leader in consumer electronics for more than 100 years of history.
