ACH Group in Australia has given a tender to HomeStay Care to uplift the nurse call systems at around nine residential aged care sites in South Australia. Under this deal, the engineer will be installing IoT powered technology platform to the nine sites each being a separate order.
The care has more than 800 residents in total. The project will commence with the initial Kapara site in South Australia for 137. Which will include the deployment of the Essence APAC multi-site cloud portal? The purchase order is of about $500,000 for the initial project site setup.
The delivery of the first site is on-going along with the delivery of a multi-site platform with go live along with first residents to start using technology for this quarter. The assistive technology will include smart care call platform which will have voice-activated nurse call stations that will help with the two-way communication for each area along with human monitoring and proactive data analysis to understand residents’ routines and unusual conditions.
These insights will allow for better decision making among care providers to give more focused service, minimizing unnecessary care and facilitating care services more responsibly.
