Former CEO of Oakton, Craig Lennard, has been appointed by Empired, the IT services provider as its executive general manager for the eastern region of Australia, advancing the provider’s approach of solidification its emphasis on the east coast of Australia.

Lennard’s emphasis will be on driving client engagement and development on Australia’s east coast, and will be leading the Perth-headquartered provider’s east coast sales team and working across the business.

The corporation said the arrangement proceeds with Empired’s emphasis on Australia’s east coast as a key market over its more extensive extent of Australia, which has seen the arrangement of six venture salesmen in Sydney and Melbourne and a senior practice chief to lead the supplier’s warning administrations group.

On his arrangement, Lennard said he was satisfied to join Empired and included that the market opportunity “for a profoundly able and confided in administrations association with key vital organizations including Microsoft and other select providers to drive customer’s advanced voyages is critical.”

Preceding his arrangement at Empired, Lennard was CEO of Oakton which, as a feature of Dimension Data has been folded into parent organization brand NTT Ltd, from October 2017 to April 2019.

Prior to this, Lennard held different administrative and directorial jobs at various ICT organizations, including SMS Management and Technology, Q-Free ASA, Logica, Axciom and Tower Technology.

He has likewise held situations on the Australian Information Industry Association Council.
