China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 jet crashed with 133 people on board, as in this file photo.

A China Eastern Airlines plane with 132 people on board, 123 passengers and 9 crew crashed in Guangxi (southern China).

The cause of the accident and the number of victims are not known at present.

Rescuers in the crash area have yet to find any signs of survival.

More than 600 emergency personnel were reportedly at the scene. Firefighters first arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire caused by the accident.
