Australia hit a new investment to dive in large-scale investment in renewable energy that was undertaken in 2019. The project will allegedly boom in 2020 owning to a large number of solar and wind farms. Industry statistician believed that wind and solar energy will generate 3.6 GW from 2.6 GW in 2019.

Out of the total amount, 1.96 GW is to be generated from PV Projects, 1.57 GW would be from wind farms and 0.1 GW from that of the batteries. The numbers confirmed to fall heavily to 60% in investment in solar and wind in Australia in the 2019 year. Giles Parkinson noted that with the heavy fall, the country needs to accelerate on the renewable sources with surpassing issues like delay in connection and loss of transmission and while overcrowding on the grid.

The Australian renewable energy has taken a hit but is expected to take a bounce back in 2020. With the new policies to enter the construction phase, the developers will take a swift towards more favourable sources from the grid. The pipeline of development is planned in New South Wales for both wind and solar due to its highest demand in the market.
